TELUS invests CA $ 5 million into 5G network
TELUS is to extend its 5G network to the Gaspésie region , Canada , after investing millions .
TELUS has expanded its nextgeneration 5G network to Bonaventure , New Richmond and Paspébiac in Canada as part of a CA $ 5 million investment in infrastructure in the Gaspésie region this year to further support the residents and businesses throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent economic recovery .
Customers now have access to TELUS ’ blazing-fast 5G network , which will contribute to improved health and educational outcomes for citizens , in addition to enabling an entrepreneurial spirit and unleashing human productivity .

Since 2000 , TELUS has invested nearly CA $ 240 billion nationally in network infrastructure , operations and spectrum across Canada , including CA $ 30 billion in technology and operations in Quebec , and plans on adding CA $ 9 billion in the province by 2024 .
Leveraging multiple vendors , TELUS will continue to expand its 5G network in Gaspésie this year to Percé , Maria , Port-Daniel and Sainte-Anne-des-Monts . The TELUS 5G network will be available to Canadians in over 615 communities , including 157 in Quebec , and will cover more than 70 % of the population by the end of the year . p
