Rackspace Technology , a leading end-to-end multicloud technology solutions company , has announced the launch of Rackspace Elastic Engineering for Government . The offering gives government cloud personnel the ability to access deep cloud expertise in a flexible way , without having to carefully craft a statement of work .

IBM has announced it will provide in-kind grants valued at US $ 5 million to help address cybersecurity resiliency in schools worldwide . For the second year in a row , six school districts in the United States will be awarded these grants .

NetApp , a global , cloud-led , data-centric software company , has announced that NetApp EF600 all-flash NVMe storage combined with the BeeGFS parallel file system is now certified for NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD . The new certification simplifies Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) and high-performance computing ( HPC ) infrastructure to enable faster implementation of these use cases .

Since 2018 , NetApp and NVIDIA have served hundreds of customers with a range of solutions , from building AI Centers of Excellence to solving massive-scale AI training challenges . The qualification of NetApp EF600 and BeeGFS file system for DGX SuperPOD is the latest addition to a complete set of AI solutions that have been developed by the companies .

Memorial University , IBM Canada , the Government of Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador have announced the launch of two new initiatives – the Centre for Analytics , Informatics and Research ( CAIR ) and the Accelerated Analytics and Machine Learning ( AAML ) project .

Led by Memorial , the two initiatives will focus on innovation and research in such diverse fields as data science and astrophysics , genetic analysis , Artificial Intelligence , Machine Learning , image analysis and scientific computing . CAIR will be equipped with powerful high-performance computers able to process huge amounts of complex data , leading to faster insights for projects such as AAML .
