CommScope has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Outdoor Wireless Networks ( OWN ) segment as well as the Distributed Antenna Systems ( DAS ) business unit of its Networking , Intelligent Cellular & Security Solutions segment to Amphenol Corporation .
“ This transaction allows CommScope to increase focus and further strengthen its CommScope NEXT priorities with its remaining segments and business units ,” said Chuck Treadway , CEO , CommScope .”
CommScope will receive approximately USD $ 2.1 billion in cash , to be paid by Amphenol upon closing – with the sale is expected to close within the first half of 2025
OWN provides wireless infrastructure for mobile networks , including macro and small cell site solutions . The DAS business provides solutions for cellular infrastructure inside venues , campuses and enterprises .
Pasco County , Florida , Department of Public Works has selected CentralSquare ’ s EAM solution to streamline citizen service requests and work order processes .
The new solution will enable citizens to more easily create and track service requests , while improving the department ’ s reporting , tracking and analysis capabilities for county employees and for mandated Federal Emergency Management Agency ( FEMA ) reporting .
Pasco County Public Works Operations Support Administrator Gavin Harvey , said : “ Our ability to quickly respond to service requests such as flooding complaints , road debris removal and more helps ensure increased community safety and peace of mind in times of crisis .”

The new pledge commits technology manufacturers to seven distinct goals , each of which is designed to increase the safety and security of software solutions before they reach the market .
