Fujitsu and AMD to begin strategic partnership to accelerate open-source AI initiatives
Both companies seek to advance the development of open-source AI software that is optimized for the AI computing platforms they will provide , and work to expand the ecosystem .
Both companies will also collaborate to build an open and more sustainable AI / HPC platform ecosystem – including a joint customer center .

Fujitsu and AMD have signed an MOU to form a strategic partnership to create computing platforms for AI and highperformance computing ( HPC ).
The partnership – seeking to facilitate the creation of open source and energy efficient platforms to accelerate open-source AI and / or HPC initiatives – will focus on the three strategic areas of engineering , ecosystems and business , targeting joint development of innovative computing platforms by 2027 .

Adtran and Sonic Fiber Internet partner to deliver 50G PON connectivity across California
Adtran has confirmed a strategic collaboration with Sonic Fiber Internet to bring 50Gbit / s passive optical network ( 50G PON ) connectivity to California . customers , enabling a range of applications from smart home integration and advanced entertainment streaming to frictionless remote work and high-speed business connectivity .
The partnership is pitched as a proactive step to ensure Sonic continues to deliver ultra-fast broadband services that meet the growing demand for higher capacity and faster speeds across the US .
By leveraging Adtran ’ s 50G PON technology , Sonic aims to lead the industry in connectivity standards for both residential and business
The technology coexists with GPON and XGS-PON and futureproofs the network ensuring scalability for evolving digital needs .
