VEEA and MARQUEE Wireless announce strategic partnership the Smart City endpoints at the edge and preserve data privacy by processing raw data for innovative applications with Edge AI locally in SMARTCELLs with process automation and energy monitoring for sustainable and efficient urban centers .”

Allen Salmasi , Co-founder and CEO , Veea , said : “ The notion of a cellular network extended with Edge AI-driven applications is truly revolutionary as it ultimately can allow the cellular industry to capitalize on a range of Smart City edge-managed applications including a wide range of subscription-based Wi-Fi and IoT services with cybersecurity and very low latency .”

MARQUEE Wireless and Veea have partnered to roll out a transformative solution based on MARQUEE ’ s patented SMARTCELL platform supported by Veea ’ s Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network ( DePIN ) to accelerate the introduction of MEC solutions with Edge AI as an extension of cellular network infrastructure .

Veea ’ s full-stack MEC middleware enables DePIN architecture , supporting Web3 protocols with Veea ’ s vTBA-based cybersecure peer-to-peer networking , blockchain technology and decentralized data storage – with applications that benefit from federated learning for inferencing and training of mobile-edge “ Contextual AI ” models together with network slicing over 5G networks .
Dimitrios Lalos , MARQUEE founder and CEO , said : “ Our combined knowledge , expertise and products will make its mark for the cellular industry together with Veea ’ s first-of-a-kind technologies in AI-driven cybersecure connectivity with network slicing to protect
Smart cities , served by cellular networks and the combined capabilities of Veea Edge Platform and SMARTCELL , can leverage automation and advanced energy management systems to optimize energy usage .

Nominal awarded US Air Force SBIR Phase 2 contract

Nominal , a leading defense technology startup specializing in advanced software analytics solutions for hardware development has been selected by AFWERX for a SBIR Phase 2 in collaboration with the Arnold Engineering Development Complex ( AEDC ).

By integrating Nominal ’ s state-of-the-art analytics platform , AEDC will benefit from improved data exploitation capabilities , allowing for more efficient and accurate testing and validation of critical aerospace systems .
Cameron McCord , CEO and co-founder , Nominal , said : “ Our software is designed to streamline complex data analysis processes , providing the AEDC team with the tools they need to accelerate development cycles and ensure the highest levels of performance and accuracy .”
AEDC is considered a critical national resource that contributes to the development of and evaluation of systems for some of the nation ’ s most needed aerospace programs . Integrating Nominal ’ s analytics software will enhance AEDC ’ s ability to conduct rigorous tests and obtain actionable insights , ultimately contributing to advancing cutting-edge air- and space-borne technologies .
Thes partnership is in line with the Air Force Research Laboratory ( AFRL ) and AFWERX ’ s goals to streamline the Small Business Innovation Research ( SBIR ) and Small Business Technology Transfer ( STTR ) processes .
Nathan Diller , a champion of defense innovation and former Air Force leader , Congressional staffer and test pilot , said : “ Complex systemof-system defense technologies are going to require new , innovative approaches to data collection and analysis . Nominal is leading the way in meeting that challenge by advancing innovative testing and evaluation capability to accelerate development at a critical moment .”
