Osmo launches Generation, world’ s first AI-powered fragrance house
Osmo, the first company to digitize scent, has launched Generation, a groundbreaking fragrance house powered by olfactory intelligence( OI) – a technology that turns data into scent.
At launch, Generation introduced three exclusive fragrance ingredients, Glossine, Fractaline and Quasarine, created using OI technology.
Through OI, Generation brings together exclusive ingredients, advanced formulation tools and real-world market intelligence, making it possible for brands and creators to create fragrances with more precision and creativity than ever before.
Alex Wiltschko, Founder and CEO, Osmo, said:“
“ We developed olfactory intelligence to give brands more intuitive, data-driven, and creative ways to design fragrances. This isn’ t just about making the process faster but also smarter and more expressive to help brands create extraordinary products.”
Beyond new ingredients, Generation is built to streamline the entire fragrance development process, helping brands move from idea to market more efficiently while staying ahead of trends.
Key innovations from Generation include:
• AI-powered formulation tools that turn inspiration from texts or images into precise fragrance formulas
• Ingredients developed with sustainability and safety in mind
• Real-world predictive market intelligence to create fragrances that connect with consumers
• Faster development cycles to reduce time to market without compromising quality.
Launched in January 2023 with $ 60 million Series A funding led by Lux Capital and Google Ventures, Osmo fuses machine learning, data science, psychophysics, olfactory neuroscience, electrical engineering, and chemistry in a multi-disciplinary approach to digitizing scent.
T-Mobile finalizing sale of 800 MHz spectrum portfolio to leading private investment firm Grain
T-Mobile has reached an agreement in principle to divest the company’ s 800 MHz spectrum portfolio to purchaser Grain Management – a leading private investment firm focused on digital infrastructure and solutions to the global broadband industry.
In partnership with energy and infrastructure experts from Black & Veatch, Grain is planning to market the 800 MHz spectrum portfolio to utilities, critical infrastructure industry operators, rural and regional operators and other enterprises, meeting crucial unfulfilled telecommunications needs.
“ This deal also gives us a great opportunity to deploy Grain’ s 600 MHz portfolio of spectrum on T-Mobile’ s network, which is already creating better customer experiences in several markets.”
The deal is expected to be finalized by the end of April 2025 and will be subject to regulatory approvals.
Under the terms of the agreement, T-Mobile would receive in return for its 800 MHz spectrum portfolio a combination of cash and all of Grain’ s 600 MHz spectrum licenses.
“ We are very pleased with the terms we reached with Grain and think the deal represents a great value for both parties. This deal would give T-Mobile the opportunity to work with key partners like Grain that share our vision to optimize spectrum for consumers by exploring the possibilities of how emerging technologies can support missioncritical infrastructure and communications – something that is integral to fueling our country’ s continued 5G leadership that drives needed economic growth,” said Dirk Mosa, Senior Vice President, Spectrum, Partnerships and Acquisitions for T-Mobile.
