GoNetspeed has construction underway to bring 17,400 homes and businesses throughout Springfield access to 100 % fiber internet.
Through GoNetspeed’ s fully funded $ 8.3 million investment, homes and businesses will have the opportunity to tap into 100 % fiber internet with access to multi-gigabit speeds as early as this spring.
Richard Clark, President & CEO, GoNetspeed, said:“ By connecting the Springfield market we’ re helping the community move forward – something that many areas of Central and Western Massachusetts don’ t have.”
Upon completion of the network, thousands will have access to GoNetspeed’ s symmetrical fiber internet speeds, allowing customers to upload just as fast as they can download.
GoNetspeed is accelerating the expansion of fiber networks throughout nine states – including Massachusetts.
Optiva has broadened and strengthen its partnership with BT Group to implement innovative B2B and B2B2X BT network communication services using Optiva’ s latest state-of-the-art Application Server.
Central to this initiative is Optiva Charging Engine, a cloudnative, open-architecture service creation platform featuring Optiva’ s Open API framework. The advancement will enhance BT Group’ s ability to grow cutting-edge services and create new revenue opportunities.
Optiva and BT Group will advance the platform to the next level by integrating B2B services to enhance and deliver their network convergence capabilities with unmatched flexibility.

C Spire, a diversified telecommunications and technology services company, has opened its new office and technology hub in Homewood, Alabama.
The state-of-the-art space serves as both a customer showroom for C Spire’ s business solutions and a model for modern work environments, featuring cutting-edge Cisco technology. As part of its goal to develop future engineers and computer scientists the C Spire Foundation awarded a STEM education donation to the Homewood City Schools Foundation.
