ValorC3 Data Centers is set to break ground on a new data center in Boise – the facility will be the company’ s second data center in the city and its fourth overall across the US.
The new data center – expected to be operational in 2027 will deliver 10MW of capacity and feature the latest in sustainable building technology.
Upon completion, the company will offer a total of 12MW of capacity in the market.

Westinghouse Electric Company and the University of Saskatchewan( USask) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement( MoA) for technical collaboration in accelerating the deployment of the eVinci microreactor in Saskatchewan.
Under the agreement, Westinghouse and USask will explore collaboration opportunities for the technical development and deployment analysis for the eVinci technology. Westinghouse is working to deploy Canada’ s first eVinci microreactor in Saskatchewan to explore industrial, research and energy use applications.
Dr. Terry Fonstad, Associate Vice-President Research, said:“ This multidisciplinary research, involving USask’ s School of Environment and Sustainability( SENS), College of Engineering and other departments, has the potential to make a profound, positive impact. By leveraging our combined expertise and resources, we can drive forward advancements that will benefit our communities and enable us to set a global standard for clean energy innovation.”
Jon Ball, President of Westinghouse eVinci Technologies, said:“ By leveraging the University of Saskatchewan’ s research capabilities, we can accelerate deployment of our microreactor and contribute to the advancement of energy security and clean power generation in Saskatchewan and beyond.”
Boldyn has completed a critical portion of the California Middle- Mile Broadband Initiative and will complete more than 80 route miles( 23,000 fiber miles) of the high-count fiber backbone by the end of June 2025 in partnership with the State of California. This portion of the California Middle-Mile project is a part of Boldyn’ s greater Bay Area network, a new high-count 220 – mile fiber ring connecting Oakland, San Francisco, Santa Clara and San Jose among other cities.
