OpenText deepens partnership with Google to accelerate AI innovation, data security and sovereign cloud solutions
OpenText has announced a significantly expanded partnership with Google Cloud to deliver transformative solutions across AI, data privacy and sovereign cloud infrastructure. This enhanced collaboration brings together OpenText’ s deep enterprise information management expertise with Google Cloud’ s advanced AI models and globally trusted infrastructure. Together, the companies aim to help organisations confidently solve complex business challenges with improved agility, security and operational performance.
OpenText will leverage Google’ s Gemini models and Vertex AI to power new enterprise-class AI use cases and deliver an expanded suite of intelligent agents through Gemini Enterprise. These AI agents are designed to help customers address high-value business problems across insurance, financial services, retail and other data-intensive industries.
With Gemini Enterprise, organisations will be able to automate claims processing, reduce cycle times, enhance fraud detection, support data compliance workflows and streamline regulatory reporting. By integrating domain-specific expertise with advanced generative AI capabilities, the platform will enable measurable improvements in speed, accuracy and overall operational efficiency.

The offering integrates OpenText’ s industryleading Data Privacy and Protection( Voltage) platform with Google BigQuery to deliver modernised end-toend protection for sensitive information.
Retailers will benefit from advanced encryption, tokenisation and granular data controls that safeguard data at rest, in transit and as it flows into AI models and analytics environments. This joint capability helps organisations maintain compliance with evolving privacy regulations while enabling secure data-driven innovation.
OpenText is also expanding its commitment to digital sovereignty by integrating its Private Cloud solutions with Google Cloud’ s Sovereign Cloud offerings. This alignment enables organisations in highly regulated industries, such as government, healthcare and financial services, to meet stringent data residency, governance and compliance requirements while retaining full control over where and how their data is stored and processed.
