Nokia has been selected by SkyFiber to deliver fast, secure and reliable connectivity for underserved households in Northern Nevada. eStruxture Data Centers, the largest Canadian data centre platform, has announced a successful C $ 150 million ABS issuance. This brings total debt raised under its new ABS and DevCo programme to C $ 1.55 billion, which will support the development of AI-ready data centres across Canada.
“ This additional debt capacity demonstrates the market’ s confidence in eStruxture’ s ability to meet its strategic plans and support the Canadian data economy as it focuses on AI and data sovereignty,” said Todd Coleman, Founder, President and CEO of eStruxture.“ This financing allows eStruxture to expand and further consolidate our position as the leading hyperscale and AI data centre provider in Canada.”
The C $ 150 million upsize results from a further expansion of the first rated, Canadian asset-only data centre securitisation the company launched in July 2025. The ABS notes were issued under the company’ s industry-leading Green Finance Framework. eStruxture is capitalising on strong investor demand for a differentiated digital infrastructure offering, which shows it has a robust pipeline of capital to fund the expansion of its platform across Canada.
“ We highly value our continued partnership with eStruxture,” said Senior Managing Director Matt Bissonette, Guggenheim Securities.“ Executing the market’ s second CAD-denominated data centre ABS from the eStruxture programme – following our successful first-ever rated inaugural CAD deal together – is a testament to the high quality of the underlying assets. This transaction was well-received by investors and its closing marks an important milestone as we continue to introduce this asset class to new parts of the market.”

Nokia’ s optical transport, IP / edge routing and fixed access solutions will allow SkyFiber, the largest recipient in Nevada of the US Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment( BEAD) program funding, to reach thousands of households in communities that have historically lacked access to reliable high-speed internet.
VarData, a leading American telecommunications digital infrastructure provider, will drive the network integration, deployment expertise and ongoing support as Nokia’ s partner, in the region.
SkyFiber will deliver a reliable and high-quality network, built with future-proof fiber infrastructure that can scale as the demands of the region grow. This is transformational for the communities and shows the pivotal role of high-speed broadband in driving digital inclusion. SkyFiber is on track to serve a significant customer base upon full deployment, validating both the market demand and the viability of BEADbacked fiber buildouts in rural markets.
The Nokia portfolio deployed across the SkyFiber network will span the full infrastructure stack: 7750 SR Broadband Network Gateway( BNG) and 7250 IXR Series routers for IP edge routing; OLTs( Lightspan MF-2) and a full range of ONTs for fixed access; Nokia Beacon Wi-Fi devices( Beacon 2, 6, and 10) for in-home connectivity; and the Nokia 1830 PSS DWDM platform for middle-mile optical transport. This single-vendor, integrated approach – covering every layer from core to home – was a decisive factor in SkyFiber’ s selection, eliminating the complexity and performance variability of multi-vendor solutions while ensuring end-to-end accountability.
