HRC processes more than 1,500 cases every day and manages around 600,000 cases annually through its Digital Front Door environment. More than 3,000 analysts and HR professionals support a community of 9.2 million soldiers, veterans, civilian employees and military families.

The Digital Front Door programme is projected to deliver US $ 6 million in annual savings through lower manual processing requirements, improved routing and retirement of redundant legacy systems, even before Agentforce agents enter production. members, veterans and family members and helps HRC manage around 600,000 cases annually.
Adding Agentforce will introduce autonomous AI capabilities on top of this existing environment. Salesforce said the agents will operate under defined permissions and controls, accessing only preapproved data and following prescribed workflows.
This approach is intended to combine automation with the security and governance requirements associated with military personnel information.
The IL5 authorisation is a central element of the programme. Department of Defense Impact Level 5 environments are designed to support controlled unclassified information and other sensitive workloads requiring stronger protection than standard commercial cloud services.
Deploying Agentforce within this environment allows HRC to use generative and agentic AI capabilities while keeping the service aligned with government security requirements.
Salesforce expects the programme to operate at scale. At full deployment, the company projects more than 55 million agent conversations each month across soldiers, civilians, spouses and veterans using Experience Cloud with Agentforce.
