PDI , a global provider of enterprise software solutions to convenience retailers and petroleum wholesalers , has announced it has reached an agreement with EG Group to expand the use of PDI Payments to nearly 1,700 sites across North America . PDI added payments capabilities to its marketing cloud solutions offering last year after acquiring ZipLine , an industry leader for ACH payment and provider of mobile payment technology . The PDI Payments platform currently powers EG Group ’ s SmartPay Rewards .
CrowdStrike , a leader in cloud-delivered endpoint and workload protection , has announced enhancements to the CrowdStrike Falcon platform that significantly improve Security Operations Center ( SOC ) efficiency , allowing security teams to focus on critical priorities and fortify their organizations ’ proactive stance against cyberthreats . CrowdStrike customers can accelerate their security operational response with new notification workflows and Real Time Response ( RTR ) capabilities within the CrowdStrike Falcon platform , automating full-cycle incident response . These advancements are complemented by new user interface ( UI ) enhancements .

CANADA
Canada-based cryptocurrency exchange CoinSmart has announced the closing of a CAD $ 4.5 million ( roughly US $ 3.5 million ) seed funding round and extensive plans to expand into Europe . The funding will be used to expand CoinSmart ’ s platform into European markets and support operational changes . It will also help Simply Digital Technologies , the owner of CoinSmart , prepare for a planned reverse takeover ahead of a hoped-for public listing on the TSX Venture Exchange .
