The City of Brownsville, Texas, has tapped NTT DATA to build smart solutions powered by private 5G.

The plant, in South Carolina, installed state-of-theart monitoring software from Ndustrial – a real-time intelligence platform that enables companies to gain insight into their processes and energy usage.

NTT DATA’ s Smart Solutions will leverage real-time data, predictive analytics and AI to support public services, safety, sustainability and growth in the emerging tech hub.

That installation saw the plant, one of ABB’ s largest US sites, slash its carbon footprint and save more than $ 150,000 per year in energy costs.
