University of Phoenix publishes report on workforce learning and human + AI collaboration
A
University of Phoenix report shows a rapid shift in how employees and employers are seeking to leverage GenAI technology.
The 2025 Generative AI Report: Learning Fuels Human + AI Collaboration is based on a national survey of more than 600 HR leaders and workers.
Key findings highlight that learning leaders are leveraging GenAI to increase efficiency of learning operations, drive innovations in learning, and reinvent the learning experience.
The 2025 findings build on those of the University’ s 2024 GenAI Report: L & D’ s Breakthrough Moment and document explosive year-over-year growth in HR and learning leaders’ use of GenAI in learning and development – up from 40 % in 2024 to 74 % in 2025.
The data in this year’ s survey shows an emerging shift to more integrated human + AI collaboration. Rather than simply assigning tasks to GenAI, employees will work in a co-creator role with GenAI and begin developing AI oversight skills. In fact, nearly half of leaders and 39 % of workers express interest in developing the ability to cocreate with AI.
However, the report also identifies a persistent GenAI gender gap and a disconnect of AI’ s benefits between leader and worker perceptions. While 63 % of men report using GenAI tools at work monthly or more, only 47 % of women say the same. Additionally, workers cite a lack of clear AI usage policies as their top concern.
The Indoor Lab partners with MARTAC Tactical Systems to deliver next-gen border surveillance solution for US government
The Indoor Lab, a leader in LiDAR-based perception and real-time operational intelligence, is joining forces with leading Unmanned Surface Vehicles developer MARTAC Tactical Systems to deliver a nextgeneration surveillance solution designed to enhance the U. S. government’ s ability to protect and secure its borders.
The new system leverages the“ Best of” capabilities from The Indoor Lab’ s Overwatch Perception Platform paired with MARTAC’ s state-of-the-art autonomous maritime surveillance vessels. This integrated solution will provide the US government with advanced detection, tracking and interdiction capabilities, enabling authorities to locate and monitor illegal crossings – on land and water – before they occur.
“ This partnership marks a significant advancement in securing our nation’ s borders,” said Patrick Blattner, CEO, The Indoor Lab.
“ By combining Overwatch’ s real-time behavioral detection with MARTAC’ s worldclass unmanned systems, we are delivering the next evolution of persistent, autonomous border surveillance – providing the US government a proactive advantage against emerging threats.”
The system’ s architecture is designed for autonomous activation: as threats are detected by The Indoor Lab’ s Overwatch platform, MARTAC’ s unmanned vessels are autonomously deployed to intercept, monitor and transmit actionable intelligence back to command centers – reducing response times and operational risk.
MARTAC Tactical Systems COO Matt Smith said:“ Partnering with The Indoor
Lab brings together two of the most innovative surveillance technologies available today. Together, we are redefining border security, delivering unmatched situational awareness and operational flexibility for government agencies.”
