AT & T expands nation’ s largest fiber network – now reaching more than 30 million fiber locations
AT & T has further cemented its position as the nation’ s leading fiber
Internet provider by achieving its goal of passing more than 30 million consumer and business locations across the US with its fiber broadband network ahead of plan.

AT & T recently announced plans to acquire substantially all of Lumen’ s Mass Markets fiber business – which includes about 1 million fiber customers and more than 4 million fiber locations across 11 states.
By reaching an industry-leading 30 million + fiber locations passed, the company is confident in its plans to reach approximately 60 million total fiber locations by the end of 2030.
The Company’ s fiber investments are also driving significant growth. Since the start of 2020, AT & T has passed millions of new fiber locations and added 5.7 million AT & T Fiber customers. Over the next five and a half years, AT & T expects to substantially grow its fiber customer base as it doubles where AT & T Fiber is available.
Curtiss-Wright awarded $ 80 million IDIQ contract by USAF to provide high-speed data acquisition technology
Curtiss-Wright Corporation has been awarded an approximately $ 80 million firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity( IDIQ) contract by the USAF to provide its High-Speed Data Acquisition System( HSDAS) hardware and associated repair services.
The contract covers Curtiss-Wright’ s full line of Flight Test Instrumentation( FTI) products and will support production platforms as well as future USAF development programs.
Under the agreement, Curtiss-Wright will provide its HSDAS aerospace instrumentation technology including High-Speed Data Acquisition, Network, Recording, Gateway, RF and Data Analysis Software( IADS) products and services.
The sole-source contract provides products, enhancements, upgrades, repair services, field service and technical support to the HSDAS equipment and is scheduled to run through March 2030.
