Lynk and Omnispace merge to deliver next-gen global direct-to-device connectivity

Lynk Global and Omnispace have announced plans to merge, creating a unified company to deliver next-generation direct-todevice( D2D) satellite connectivity that bridges satellite and terrestrial networks. SES will become a major strategic shareholder, supporting deployment of D2D and IoT services for mobile network operators( MNOs), enterprises and government customers through a multi-orbit, multi-spectrum architecture.

Atomic Data expands large-venue capabilities with acquisition of Venue Wireless

Atomic Data, a Minneapolis-based IT services provider, has acquired Venue Wireless, a specialist in technology solutions for large sports and entertainment venues.

The move strengthens Atomic Data’ s position in delivering integrated IT, networking and security systems for stadiums, arenas, and other large-scale public facilities.
Venue Wireless has earned a North American reputation for designing and deploying high-density wireless networks and complex IT infrastructures. The acquisition – Atomic Data’ s first since its 2024 recapitalization with Dubin Clark – signals a major step in its growth strategy and expansion into connected-venue technology.
With the global smart-stadium market projected to grow from $ 19.5 billion in 2024 to $ 41.7 billion by 2029, Atomic Data aims to capitalize on rising demand for advanced connectivity and data-driven fan experiences.
