Extreme Networks has announced the deployment would be built around Wi-Fi 7, providing the latest wireless standard alongside technology engineered specifically for high-density environments. The company partnered with MatSing to combine its advanced antenna technology with Extreme access points, creating Extreme Multi-Beam Wireless, which was designed to deliver highly targeted wireless coverage across every part of the 60,000-seat venue.
According to the companies, the hyperdirectional antenna system would improve coverage, capacity and efficiency by directing wireless signals precisely where they were needed, helping maintain consistent performance throughout the stadium regardless of crowd density.

The new 60,000-seat $ 2.1 billion Nissan Stadium – expected to host Super Bowl LXIV in 2030 – is scheduled to open in 2027 and is being built next to the existing Nissan Stadium, which is set for demolition.
The infrastructure was intended to create a seamless digital environment capable of supporting growing numbers of connected devices as fan expectations continue to evolve.
